Located in western Massachusetts, Williams College is a small liberal arts college – ranked #1 according to US News & World Report – with approximately 2,000 students. Working with a recently developed campaign identity, the school struggled with finding the best way to express the excitement of the campaign via online platforms. They wanted something fresh and powerful that deviated from what they considered to be the ‘typical’ campaign website. To help them navigate this challenge, they hired Minelli.
Working in partnership with Williams, we developed visual and verbal expressions that focused on a bold and vibrant future while still paying homage to the college’s history. We developed a comprehensive digital strategy and web presence that served as touchpoints for individuals as they participated in the campaign. The digital elements were designed to evolve over time and share fresh stories and content with current and prospective students throughout the campaign.
